In no case will data relating to your credit cards be stored, which will be managed through the Paypal service.
In order to speed up the service offered, identifying each user as quickly as possible, the site will use "cookies". "Cookies" are blocks of data that certain websites send to the hard drive of the computer when it connects in order to identify it, with said information being stored on the hard drive of the user's computer.

Conditions of Purchase
PRICES
The prices on our website are shown in euros. In accordance with current legislation, all purchases made from our website will be subject to Value Added Tax (VAT). According to Spanish regulations, we are obliged to issue an invoice for orders over €3,000 (VAT included). Shipping costs will be added to the purchase summary before payment is made. San Gines Portugal SGPS, Lda reserves the right to modify the prices shown on the site without prior notice. The price of the products will be the one stipulated at any given time on our website, except in the case of a manifest error. Although we try to ensure that all prices listed on the page are correct, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the products you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, the order will be deemed cancelled and any amounts paid will be fully refunded. We will not be obliged to supply you with the product(s) at the incorrect lower price (even if we have sent you the Shipping Confirmation) if the error in the price is obvious and unequivocal and could have reasonably been recognised by you as an incorrect price. Your rights under current legislation are protected.
INVOICES
To facilitate delivery and not delay preparation and delivery times, all orders are sent with a simplified invoice, delivery note or cash receipt. If you would like an invoice for your online order, you must request it by email to management@sanginesportugal.com, attaching the cash receipt and tax details.
All international sales are considered sales to direct consumers, individuals, (B2C), invoices will not be issued to companies with registered offices outside the territory of Spain.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
In principle, all products in our store are available, unless they are shown as "out of stock" on the product sheet. Since the products we sell online are not perishable in the short term. In the event that a product is out of stock at the time of placing your order and we have not been able to update this information in the store, we will contact you as soon as possible during our office hours to inform you of the delay we may have or send you a product with similar characteristics and price or refund the corresponding amount.
ALLERGENS OR INTOLERANCES
In principle, all products in our online store have a table of allergens available in their description erogens. We are not responsible in any case if you do not inform yourself correctly for your consumption or for the consumption of the people for whom you are going to prepare our products. Please be careful when serving our product to people if you do not know the intolerances and allergies that they may have.
ONLINE ORDER PREPARATION, TRANSPORT AND DELIVERY TIMES
Orders received from Monday to Friday (working days), before 09:00 hours are prepared on the same day they are received. If they are received after 09:00 they will be prepared the following working day in Madrid. If there is a stock shortage of any of the products requested, we will send you a note to the email or we will contact you by phone to modify the order, refunding or notifying you of the wait.
Shipments are not prepared or collections scheduled with the transport agency on weekends or holidays in Madrid. Delivery in your area will depend on the holidays of the delivery address. Normally they are only made on working days. Please take this into account when placing your order.
Once the order is prepared, it is collected by the selected transport agency in less than 24 hours from our facilities. The transit time does not depend directly on us, but on a transport agency. This transit time varies between 24h and 72h for peninsular destinations. From the time of collection, the order is under the responsibility of a third company that will deliver the order to your home. The transport agency will provide tracking information and notifications to your email or phone number provided at the time of purchase. Please provide the recipient's mobile phone number to facilitate delivery to the delivery person. If the recipient is not at the delivery address, the courier will try to contact you by phone. If this is not possible, they will try a second scheduled delivery or leave a note so that you can go to the transport agency or ParcelShop closest to your delivery address to collect it. If the order is not collected within the margins indicated on the delivery note, it will be returned to the store from which it was sent, and it will have to be collected there or we will have to charge shipping costs again. In no case will the amount of the product be refunded for reasons of not collecting it on time or rejecting the package as it will be considered ABANDONED, the full shipping and return costs generated may be charged when refunding the purchase.
If your order is urgent, please contact us at management@sanginesportugal.com so that we can try to have your order received by another urgent distribution channel, with the corresponding charges for this reason.
In International shipments, we will not be responsible for possible delays or the customs conditions and reviews of each country, you must know them before placing the order.
EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us by email at management@sanginesportugal.com within a maximum period of 2 working days from receipt of the order, clearly indicating the problem. For exchanges and returns, you must take your order and invoice to the nearest Chocolatería San Ginés store and we will give you the solution you need. We will not accept exchanges or returns if we have not previously received notification and the reason is accepted by our staff, generating a return order.
SECURITY IN CARD PAYMENTS
The Chocolatería de San Ginés online store accepts payments by direct bank transfer to our account or by credit or debit card through the Stripe payment gateway, accepting the main credit cards in the world (Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express), as well as other payment methods specific to certain countries we serve.
In addition to card payment, you can also pay through your PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link accounts, among other payment systems, without sharing financial information with San Gines Portugal SGPS, Lda.
Sometimes, we may accept payments by direct bank transfer to our account. Please note that you must always include in the transfer concept or in the deposit the reference or order number that was communicated to you in the order confirmation email. Until the full amount, including taxes and shipping costs, is deposited in our account, the order cannot be shipped from our facilities. Since transfers may take some time to reach our account, the order may take longer to be delivered to the post office or transport agency. You will receive a confirmation email when we verify that we have received the amount in our account. From that moment on, it takes a while for the order to be delivered to the post office or transport agency.
We will take a maximum of 24 hours to deposit your order at the post office or transport agency.
All payments can be used for any type of delivery, whether at home or collection at the Chocolatería San Ginés that you have indicated in the order comments.

Home deliveries - Food Delivery
DELIVERY WITH EXTERNAL COMPANIES (GLOVO, UBER EATS, AND OTHER FOOD DELIVERY PLATFORMS)
All sales made through external "Marketplaces" must be claimed and attended to by said service providers, who cannot attend to claims directly. Our role in these cases is to serve the product and wait for a messenger from said platform to come. We are not responsible for delivery times or the delivery area, which is a matter for said platforms and can vary it according to their criteria or conditions on that day. (Traffic closures, availability of messengers, weather conditions...) All our products leave our facilities freshly made.

SHIPMENTS
Any Food Delivery order will be sent through last mile courier providers corresponding to the chosen channel. Each location has a limited delivery area of approximately 3-4 km around. We cannot ship over longer distances to avoid the loss of quality of our products for immediate consumption. It is your responsibility to provide the corresponding personal data regarding address and contact information. In the event of an incident with your order, the mobile phone provided will be the way the courier can contact you to arrange delivery. You must have it operational since any problem with the delivery.
SCHEDULED
In scheduled shipments, they are always approximate times, and delivery may be brought forward or delayed for a reasonable time. You select a preferred delivery time, but weather, traffic intensity, route chosen by the transport, ease of access to the address, clear or unclear address indications, may be reasons why your order is delivered early or late. In shipments through external platforms, you can follow them through said platforms with the interactive maps that they provide. In the case of shipments through our own channel, you will receive different SMS on the mobile phone and at your provided email address, in order to access a real-time map of the status of your shipment. We ask that you keep an eye on your means of contact and follow up on your order diligently.
EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
In case of problems through shipments on UBER EATS or GLOVO, you must contact said platforms. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase through our DIRECT CHANNEL, please contact us by email at management@sanginesportugal.com within a maximum period of 2 working days from receipt of the order, clearly indicating the problem and a copy of all documents, order, invoice, charge, photos, etc. to make the claim. In no case will claims be considered in which you have not collected or attended to the courier service or the store by phone and your order has not been able to be delivered. These orders will be considered ABANDONED. Due to the loss of product that will be thrown away or delivered to soup kitchens and the consequent costs of returning to our facilities, these ABANDONED orders will not be refundable nor can another delivery attempt be made.
